I was a rock music fan since my childhood and during my late teen years “fell” into the world of heavy metal, which I enjoy for more than a quarter of century now. I have a very diverse musical taste, listening to most subgenres, but there’s no denying going back to the roots, is always a special thing – the bands being for me Metallica and Iron Maiden.
So when I found out, board game company CMON is releasing several Iron Maiden figure packs for their Zombicide game, I jumped onto the pre-order hype train and ordered the 66.6$ bundle off all the Eddie figures and thus also received a bonus bundle figure of the “Original Eddie” from their debut album. After about 6 months of waiting, the figures have finally arrived. Was the wait worth it? Hell Yeah! Here’s a little sneak peak of what you get in different boxings. Standard figures are about 4cm in height, while the Pack #3 features two figures which are easily the double size of that. Made out of resin, there’s little to non clean-up required upon checking them under magnifying glass.
The only regret I have is that not all the albums are covered, while some are represented with two figures.
