The bottom area between the engines gets quite dirty on lots of aircraft. It is interesting though, that reference photos show substantional staining only to the back part of the rear missile recesses.
With the decals done, it was time to put some pink on her, lay down a thin protective finish over decals and start dirtying her up with artists oil paints.
Let there be pink! The pink stuff you see in the photo is called Germetika. It is some sort of a sealant, you can find all over this aircraft. More will be added later.
Time for oils. Say and practice what you want, but artists oil paints are hard to beat for weathering – a tube will probably cost you as much as a bottle of pre-made wash but will last you almost a lifetime. And with just a few basic colors, you will be able to recreate numerous effects.
The other side… notice, beside the obvious staining at the exhaust area, faint vertical and horizontal streaks from rudder pivots
Top view – again the exhaust area and slight streaks from flap and aileron pivots.
